Makants Greyhound Rescue

Thousands of greyhounds are retired from racing every year which is why charities like Makants are so important. By working with greyhound trainers, the team are able to get as many as they can rehomed so they can enjoy a happy retired life. The alternative outcome is unthinkable.

I photograph hounds as I adore the breed, feel it's important to get them out there for potential adopters to see and because I love to show people how charismatic and gentle these dogs are. They are truly wonderful!

Black Beauty

Black Beauty

Like black cats, black dogs find it more difficult to find homes. Logan can't undersdtand it- he is so very handsome!

Tom always has a ball when the rescue hires out a paddock for the hounds to free range. Although he's in a happy home, he goes back to visit a lot :)
